Kamala has united the Democrat party and the media. They've controlled the last two weeks of narrative and are deceiving everyone about who she and they really are. The polls are tightening and it's very possible that Kamala could win the next election, which is crazy to consider. So what are we to do?

Welcome to Politics by Faith, brought to you by the Patriot Gold Group. I'm a little down on politics at the moment. Maybe it's because we had a high. There was a couple of weeks of, like, oh, things are going great. And then I saw a video of Biden yesterday, just bumbling, just, and I was like, oh, that would have been the easiest election in the world to win and now they got Kamala and she's you know been riding high for a couple weeks and the polls are closing up and I don't know who knows what's gonna happen I got a little discouraged about the election there's 90 days to go it's not over by any means but just in the moment feeling a little discouraged maybe you feel the
So what do we do?
Well, we go to God's word. Let me back it up. One other side thought. I've been watching the Olympics a lot lately. And it's fun to see people be excellent at a thing. But I go back and forth on this because it's also sometimes sad. It's a little sad too knowing how much of a sacrifice of life it takes to be that excellent. And I know a lot of these people have won their gold medals and then they fall into a dark depression because this wasn't it. This wasn't what they were looking for. It didn't make them happy. This desire for more and more, which is, this desire for more is that edge that they needed to be the best in the world in the first place. That can come at a very high cost that oftentimes isn't worth it. And that's even if you win, what if you get fourth place?
0:01:43
It's like, oh man, was all that worth it? There was one swimmer yesterday, I forget her name, Amy Reagan Smith, I forget, but she won. And she got second, she got second. I think it's her fourth silver medal. She can't, she can't get the gold. And she had a good post-interview.

She talked about how she's learned over the last three years since the last Olympics that swimming is not her life. It's a part of her life. She's had a better balance, a much healthier approach to the sport, enjoying it a lot more. I'm glad she found that. And I'm trying to think about the right approach to politics, you know, because it's not a silly game.

It's not so you can jump the highest over the stick or run 100 meters the fastest. It's life or death. It's life or death ramifications here. So can you care about it too much? I don't know. Is it your life or should it just be a part of your life? How do you balance that? And then you think, okay, well, we got to win. Okay, well, now we're losing. I'm depressed. What do I do? You read Psalm 44. It says, You, speaking of God, You drove out the nations with Your hand, but them You planted. You afflicted the peoples and cast them out, for they did not gain possession of the land by their own arm save them
0:03:14
But it was your right hand your arm and the light of your countenance Because you favored them love this balance between You the person having to act but also you Aren't the person who does any of the things right? It's like how do you make sense of that? I mean there were times when these realites did nothing
0:03:32
Joshua 24 says then you went over the Jordan and came to Jericho, and the men of Jericho fought against you, also the Ammonites, good, those are a bunch of people, but I delivered them into your hand. I sent the hornet before you, which drove them out from before you, also the two kings of the Ammonites, but not with your sword or with your bow. I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them, you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant it's nothing God did

all of it but then sometimes there's a little bit of a balance the Charles Spurgeon puts it beautifully as always he says Canaan was not conquered without the armies of Israel but equally true is it that it was not conquered by them so what do we do it's all 44 says for I will not trust in my bow nor shall my sword save me but you have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us.
In God we boast all day long, and praise your name forever." Spurgeon says, "'We will renounce forever all reliance upon outward confidences of which other men make such boast, and we will cast ourselves upon the omnipotence of our God.'" Are you discouraged about the election? We can't trust in our bow, can't trust in our sword to save us from our enemies.
0:04:58
In God, in God alone, we must boast all day long. Now, just like the armies, you have to go and you have to do the thing, you have to register to vote, you have to go vote, you have to do your part, but don't think that we are the ones who are actually going to save this country. Spurgeon says, Bows having been newly introduced by King Saul were regarded as very formidable weapons in the early history of Israel but they are here laid aside together

with all conquering sorts in order that there may be room for faith in the living God. Arm of flesh how dare I trust thee? How dare I bring upon myself the curse of those who rely upon man? As if any of our efforts, as if any of our even gold medal winning levels of excellence can save us. And as if we can win this election and God isn't in total control of it, we have to play our part, of course. It's not an excuse to do nothing.
0:05:59
But God is the one who's in control. So if I'm feeling anxious about it, why am I getting upset? But what I can do, I'm going to do what I can do, but we've got to get to prayer. Do not forget about the most important weapon of all, and that is the weapon of prayer. So if you're feeling anxious or discouraged like I am at this present moment, let's never forget the truth, and let's not forget to use our most powerful weapon of all. I hope you have a great weekend.
