Kamala did a softcore porn podcast because that's her base. They talked about abortion of course because that's all her base cares about. I compare that worldview with what I saw in CA this weekend visiting pro-life pregnancy centers. It's a world of difference.
My goodness, Slater, what is your commitment to this podcast? I apologize, but I'm grateful that you're here. Politics by Faith brought to you by the Patriot Gold Group. I've been traveling, and I'll get to that in just a second here about why. I want to talk about this clip from Kamala Harris. She was on the Call Her Daddy podcast. This podcast is a advice podcast, an adult advice podcast, really bad advice. By the way, this is not Dr. Laura. You don't have to listen to any of her show to know the kind of person she's a, you know, it's a very modern girl boss, feminist sleep around with everyone. If men can sleep around, then women can too, that whole thing. And people are like, well, why would Kamala go on such a dirty podcast? We're like, well, it's her base.
That's it. The demographics of this podcast are 70% women and 76% of the viewers are under the age of 35. So that's her people. That is literally her base. So Kamala is on this podcast.
Got a couple clips here. Let's start with this one. This is the weirdest thing that these people think this is some sort of like Hit or own or something I want to take a moment and can we try to think of any law That gives the government the power to make a decision I know it's gonna ask about a man's body. Let's know The draft. Okay let's sit around brainstorm. Let's start with the draft.
0:01:46
Let's start with the law that says the government can send you man off to die. Again the idea that these women Kamala and this podcast host think that this is some sort of brilliant point and it pains me that 70% of the audience, the women listening to the show, like don't hear anyone say the draft. The draft is a law that gives the government power over the male body. I guess I would also say vaccine mandates would be one.
0:02:19
I know in California, her state, Kamala's and many other states, they can castrate sex offenders. offenders now I thought of that one on the radio this morning and I was like well I mean it's it's true for all like criminals like if you break the law then the government has power over your body to put you in jail so like everyone I think it's like such a ridiculous point that that talking point like for the
0:02:43
pro-abortion people makes no sense at all so anyway that was a real own from Kamala on the podcast. She posted that by the way. This clip too. She posted these thinking that these were like really powerful moments for her. Here's another one. I do want to clarify something.
0:03:05
In the debate, former President Trump claimed that some states are executing babies after birth. Can you just clarify? That is not happening anywhere in the United States. It is not happening and it's a lie. Just, it's a bold-faced lie
0:03:27
that he is suggesting that can you imagine, can you imagine he is suggesting that women in their ninth month of pregnancy are electing to have an abortion? Are you kidding? That is that is so outrageously inaccurate and it's so insulting to suggest that that would be happening and that women would be doing that. Yes it definitely happens. So what Trump was talking about in the debate,
0:04:01
we'll do the quick of this, so maybe this can help you spread the word if we do this quickly. Trump was talking about in the debate the execution of a baby after it's born, referring to failed abortion attempts.
0:04:10
Now I would think that if someone tries to get an abortion, that it would never fail at it. I couldn't imagine a baby being born after an abortion attempt, but it happens quite a bit. Arizona passed a law in 2017 requiring all doctors to report on born alive cases.
0:04:28
And from August 2017 to December 2017, it happened 10 times, where the baby again was attempted to be killed in the womb, but came out born alive 10 times in just a couple of months in Arizona. That's a lot.
0:04:39
In Florida in 2018, there were six cases. In Minnesota in 2021, there were four. I would think it would be zero, but it actually quite a bit. So the question is, what do you do with the baby after you tried to kill it in the womb,
0:04:52
it came out alive, uh-oh, what do we do now? So what they do is not keep it alive. And that's what you hear, the baby is made comfortable. Right, so they either, the baby just let it suffocate on its own or starve or whatever, they don't keep the baby alive like they would
0:05:09
any other baby. Trump called that executing the baby, whatever you want to call it, that's what it is. So Kamala would be like, it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. So we have like, of course it happens. I think it definitely happens.
0:05:20
And it's one of those things that's so oddly surreal. Like we're a year after the October 7th attacks, the terrorist attack against Israel. We just did a special on this that we put here on the podcast as well. We made a quick little point of the fact that when Hamas killed 1,000 over 1,000 people and kept hostage to hundreds more, including still four Americans, they killed 11 Americans, took 10 hostage, and
0:05:51
now there's still four hostage today. But then people are like, oh, Hamas raped people. People in our media in America were like, oh, come on, there's no proof. There's no proof. It's like, what are you talking about? Like, how absurd?
0:06:03
Oh, yeah, you're right, you're right, you're right. They would never. Let's not besmirch the terrorists who just murdered a bunch of people in cold blood. Let's not think that they would ever stoop to that low. Like, ridiculous. Same thing with the Haitians eating cats.
0:06:19
I had the same surreal feeling. People were like, oh, that's so outrageous. I'm like, what? Like, of course Haitians eat cats. Like, Haitians eat cats? Like, what are you, like, there's people who eat cats all over the world.
0:06:28
Oh, that's never happened. It happens all the time. There's a whole Wikipedia page about cat meat. Like, the weirdest thing that people say these things that happen all the time never happened. And say, New York had a law until 2019 when the Democrats took over in New York. But New York had a law in your state that said when an abortion is to be performed after the 20th week of pregnancy, so it does happen, a physician other than the physician performing the abortion shall be in attendance to take control of and to provide immediate medical care
0:06:55
for any live birth that is the result of the abortion. Weird, why would that be a law in New York if that thing never happened? The reason I was traveling, I was in New York, or no, California. I was speaking at two different pro-life pregnancy centers, one up in Grass Valley, California, outside Sacramento, and then another in San Diego. And one of the points I made, one of many, is that this stuff's all very, very normal. It's been around for a long, long time.
0:07:27
Even this specifically, the making comfortable of an unwanted baby after it's born. They did it all the time in ancient times. In ancient Rome, they called it exposure. They would leave a baby alive outside of the walls of the city. And the baby would die from the elements or an animal or something. And no one ever thought it was bad.
0:07:47
No one ever wrote about it. We don't have any records of anyone, you know, any ancient writers talking about how horrible this was. In fact, the founding of Rome, the story goes, was Romulus and Remus, who were abandoned by their mother. And they went on to found the city of Rome.
0:08:02
So it can't be all bad to abandon your kids outside in the wilderness like this. So this has happened forever. It still happens today. And we used to be a Christian country. We're not anymore. And the less of a Christian country we are, the more of a pagan country we become.
0:08:19
And the more of a pagan ethic we have. And the more pagan we are, we elect pagans and then they legalize or even encourage more pagan things. It's like zero surprise by any of this. So don't buy the, like this fake aghast, that's a lie that never happens. Happens all the time.
0:08:42
It was great to be in these two wonderful places in California. Grass Valley, I've never been to Grass Valley before, it was great. Out in the country, just as red, it's just like as red as can be, just happens to be in California. I stayed at a family's house,
0:08:57
I usually stay at people's houses, not hotels, and stayed at this people's house and their address was like 6842 Rough and Ready Highway. Rough and Ready Highway? How awesome is that for a highway? Rough and Ready Highway.
0:09:11
So then I land, the plane lands, and I text the guy who I'm staying with, and he says, oh hey, make sure that when you type in the address, you type in rough and ready highway and not rough and ready road, because that'll send you to two different places.
0:09:25
I say, hold on, you have two of them? You have two rough and ready roads? My kind of place. Turns out there's a town called Rough and Ready, California, named during the gold rush and this town ceded or succeeded Seceded from the Union in 1850 called themselves the great republic of rough and ready
0:09:47
It's great. They were joined pretty quickly after but whatever every year they still celebrate secession day in rough and ready, California So there's hope in California Just need to tap into that rough and ready spirit But this one the first time I spoke at in Grass Valley, they saved the lives of 161 babies last year. And of all the women who go into their pro-life center
0:10:09
to get a sonogram or a pregnancy test or whatever, all for free by the way, nothing's free at Planned Parenthood but at these pro-life centers, everything's free. Of all the women who walked in abortion-minded, they walked out saying, I'm not going to get an abortion. 89% walked out.
0:10:23
Isn't that amazing? So all the women who walked in, 89% of them walked out saying, no I'm gonna choose life. That's astounding. If you told me 2% of the women walk out choosing life, I would think that's amazing. Well done. Well done everyone. But 89%? Fantastic. So at the banquet, I met the husband and wife who first started the center, 1985. And I was like, tell me what, like what happened?
0:10:56
And they said, well, let me tell you. So they took a mission trip to China and not just a mission trip, they sold everything they owned. They sold everything they owned to move to China and they smuggled in Bibles.
0:11:07
So they're in China for as long as God wants them to be in China. They had no ties back to America. And they went to a zoo in China. And in one exhibit there were these jars, these glass jars full of fluid with different stages of animal fetuses.
0:11:23
Feti, fetuses. Right, here's like a little elephant, then bigger, bigger, right? Monkey, little monkey. And the last display was of a human. So a human fetus at different weeks inside the womb. And it was so appalling to them that right then and there,
0:11:40
they decided to dedicate their ministry, their life, to pro-life in particular. So time went on and they ran out of money and they came back to Grass Valley, California and started the center. And I kept pressing them, I kept saying,
0:11:52
I said, like, what do you mean you had no money? They said, we ran out of money, that's why we came back from China. Ran out of money. I said, what do you mean you had no money? Like, oh, we didn't have any money.
0:12:02
I said, but what do you mean you had no money? I was like, what did you do? Like, well, we got a job. Yeah, but you had no money. Yeah, we actually had no money. We had two kids, too.
0:12:15
No money? Where did you live? I was still in the basement of a friend's house for a couple months. So we got a paycheck, could rent a house. There's like so nonchalant, I can't express the nonchalantness about it. Selling everything they own, having no money, and just being like, oh, you know,
0:12:33
got a job, rented a place, figured it out. It's like so matter of fact. Meanwhile, I'm over here like, where's the money? Keep more hoard, more money, more money, money! Man, God is good. God provides.
0:12:52
And I just want to bring that story up here because we live in a pagan culture where someone running for president can go on a wickedly deceived slash sinful podcast and talk about killing babies and this is all, you know, you can vote for her. Like this is all in the open and many people will but there are so many good people who are doing so much including selling everything they own to support life and that's a beautiful thing and I just wanted to share this this all-in dedication that's what I saw from this
0:13:35
There was a woman at this pregnancy center banquet, Desiree, and she was one of those women who went into the center planning to have an abortion, and she didn't. Now she has three kids, and her and her husband were there, and it was wonderful. And in her story, she said, God renewed my joy of children. I think that's such a wonderful line. God renewed my joy of children.
0:14:04
So she was deceived by the world. Children are a burden or inconvenient or whatever, kill it. But no, God renewed my joy of children. Isn't that wonderful? And I just think of that couple in China praying. And if God could have given them a vision of,
0:14:20
hey guys, so glad you're here in China. In 40 years, you're going to meet this woman Desiree and you're going to meet her child whose life you saved because you started a center. And there's going to be thousands of more children along the way too, but in particular, you're going to meet Desiree at this dinner. That's going to be really nice.
0:14:41
It's like, wow, that is a life well lived. I'm so grateful for these pro-life centers. They're all over the country. So just search for your town, pro-life center, there's one near you. Please help them. Volunteer, money, they have classes for helping parents, you can help out with that.
0:14:58
There's so much need obviously and they do such wonderful, wonderful work. I'll tell you in California, they're up against it. San Diego just passed an ordinance that says you've got to be a certain number of feet away from an abortion center. There's 13 in San Diego I think. In Grass Valley, just a little Grass Valley, there's five within a 50-mile radius,
0:15:16
five abortion centers. And in San Diego, I think there's 13. So in San Diego, you're no longer allowed to speak outside of an abortion center at 50 decibels. 50 decibels is a quiet refrigerator or a light rainfall. So you can't speak on the sidewalk louder than the sound of a light rainfall or you'll get arrested. But that's what they're up against and they're not fighting. I want to share this before I go. One last thing on abortion. I didn't do this on the radio. I thought maybe it was a little much for the radio audience. This is a horrible person. His name is Al something he is what was one of the what is his name who doesn't matter
0:16:10
he is one of the it's like a Hugh Hefner kind of figure right and he was asked why there are a lot of Jewish people overrepresented in pornography. And here's what he said. He said, the only reason that Jews are in pornography, by the way, if there's any kids listening now, not if there's any, the only reason that Jews are in pornography is that we think Christ S U C K S Catholicism, S U C K S pornography thus
0:16:44
becomes a way of defiling Christian culture. And as it penetrates to the very heart of the American mainstream, as it is no doubt consumed by those very same wasps, white Anglo-Saxon Protestants, its subversive character becomes more charged. So it's all very intentional by Satan working through people, of course. I made the point during these speeches that people love abortion because they hate God.
0:17:16
It's very simple. That's the root of it. There's lots of other reasons why. People love abortion because they hate God and God loves life. God hates death. But if you hate God, then you love death and you will love abortion.
0:17:28
If you love God, then you'll love life. It's very simple. I'll end with Psalm 25. I've been thinking about it the last couple of days. This is the second verse, second stanza. Make me to know your ways, O Lord.
0:17:43
Teach me your path. I can't help but think of this couple selling everything, going to China, relying on a verse like this. Make me know your ways, O Lord. Teach me your paths. Lend me in your truth.
0:17:56
Lead me, excuse me, lead me in your truth and teach me. For you are the God of my salvation. For you I wait all the day long. Or it's what I want to do. I want to drown you out and do what I want to do. And Psalm 25 says, no, no, no.
0:18:10
Make me to know your ways. Teach me your path. Lead me in your truth. Teach me, God, please. You're the God of my salvation. I'd be nothing without you. For you I wait all the day long. May that guide us every day. Mike Slater dot locals dot com. Transcripts are commercial free on the website. Mike Slater dot locals dot com.
