Cuban Communists Infiltrating America
Politics By Faith, July 21, 2026
July 20, 2026

The State Departmetn issued a 100 page report about how Cuba has been the source of Communism in America. Communists have been around for a while in America, but there is one fundamental difference today. We break it down today and talk about the best way, maybe the only way, we can stop the rise of communism in America.

Welcome to Politics by Faith. It's where we take the news of the day, we bring it to the Bible, so we can walk away with peace and perspective. That's our goal. At the end of every episode we do here, there should be a sigh of peace. New headlines every day, which can cause anxiety. But Ecclesiastes says it's not the new under the sun.

So thanks for being here to get the true story. The story of the day today. Cuban communist revolutionaries in America. All right, here's what's going on. Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, issued this report called Cuba, the Capital, 21st Century Communism. It's 100 pages longer, and it's all about Cuba and their role in spreading communism around the world, but particularly their influence here in America.

So a couple of examples here, and then we'll tie this into DSA and then the Bible. ICAP is a word that they use often in this report. It's called the Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos. Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples. Fidel Castro founded it back in the 60s. The purpose of this is to reach out to international activist groups, many of them in America.

One of them is called the National Network of Cuba. It's here in the United States, and they lobby Local state groups like school boards, labor unions, city councils, all these things. They lobbied them from a pro Cuba angle. I have a clip of the coach. I got a two longer clips. I want to play later.

So I'm not going to play the clip here. Why don't I just tell you what the clip says? Her name is on on. Yes. On who shot. Oh, yeah.

I read her bio. Her bio says she is an African woman marooned in the United States. Marooned. She's stuck here. She can't get out. Lady, it's super easy.

to get out and she is organizing to defeat capitalism colonialism imperialism and patriarchy she's editor with hood communist and she's the co -chair of the national network on cuba and she's an organizer with the vencer venceremos brigade venceremos It means we shall overcome. We'll get to them coming up in a little bit. So I get this clip where she's talking about how she's living in the belly of the beast behind enemy lines. It's America. And her ultimate purpose of this clip here in this clip is she says, we got to persuade black men in America to not join the military because when black men take up arms for the imperialist state America, they end up fighting against their fellow blacks around the world in oppressed countries. Okay.

I have tons of clips like that of people like that. And it's very easy to come to the conclusion, the conclusion that I've come to for many years, which is these people are silly. They're foolish. Who cares what they say? Are we really going to waste our time with what this woman talks about? Like whatever.

They're totally worthless. Not going to spend our time on it. And I think in the past, that was maybe definitely sensible, if not accurate conclusion. They were just a bunch of third party losers. Now here's the big difference. These losers have taken over the Democratic Party from within.

So these previously third, fourth, fifth party losers, they have now taken over the Democrats apparatus, their infrastructure, their fundraising, their credentials, their prestige, their power. And now they are winning. We talked a lot about this in our episodes, our last TV episode, which we re -aired over the weekend here, but they're winning. They're winning. Their power is growing. never before.

I'll give you an example of this. In the report, they talk about this guy, Stokely Carmichael. In 1967, he gave a speech at the Organization of Latin American Solidarity called Black Power in the Third World, and he talks about how black people in America are internal colonies within the United States. And he actually gave a speech in Cuba. And he said, black communities in America are the victims of white imperialism and colonial exploitation. Thus, he says, black power means that we see ourselves as part of the third world.

So black people in America should and do see themselves as the third world. And we see our struggle as closely related to liberation struggles around the world. He said there's only one place for black Americans in these struggles, and that is on the side of the third world. Now, this is 1967. The fruit of his rhetoric, was, you know, riots, resentment, spreading anger, and all this stuff with other people, right? And like messing up lives and all this.

Certainly wasn't peace and unity, but he never got any political power. So the damage he could do was limited to only so far. He was a member of the Black Panthers and some other political parties, but it was always a third party. Then came the 1964 Democratic National Convention and they wouldn't recognize any of the parties that he was in support of like any of these other communist parties that had these weird names so he was appalled that the democrats wouldn't recognize him and and his these other groups that he supported so he rebelled and you know how he rebelled he created another party that didn't do anything no one like a third party it's never gonna work it's a two -party system that's what we have here so these people had a third party system it worked adopted by one of the main parties. So then they started another party and you're like, man, like that's not the communist today.

I figured out and have been successful in taking over one of the two parties, Democratic Socialists of America leading the way, taking over the Democratic Party. Again, that's what we talked about in our last couple episodes over the weekend. These people are crazy. The co -chair of the New York City DSA was on Fox News the other day calling for getting rid of the U . S. Senate.

This is a part of their platform. Abolish the Senate. So it's crazy. The same type of people, they'll say, oh, you know, you're not being very biblical. You're judging. You're not a good Christian.

You're not doing what Jesus told you to do. And they themselves hate the Bible and aren't Christian. It's a similar deal here. These are the people who say, Oh, Trump's terrible. He's destroying the constitution. And then they have in their party platform, abolish the Senate, abolish the Supreme court, eliminate the constitution.

What's broken. I want to play two clips here. First start off with Marco Rubio and then, uh, Stephen Miller. This is at an event called the resurgence of political terrorism. Both of these clips are tremendous. I hope this is these guys work shopping.

Well, this was before this Cuba report was issued. Obviously, they knew what was in the report, so they're getting ready for the report. I hope this is them, though, getting ready for the midterm convention, which is going to be September. I think the chair of the RNC said September 9th and 10th, I think that's what he told us. So it's going to be like a month and a half or so. So I hope they're workshopping these ideas to create the contrast between what this administration is for and what the opposition is really all about.

This right here is about as good as it gets. Here's Marco Rubio. This is a distinctive and unique evil. It has always been driven by a hatred above all else, a hatred for civilization itself. It is a revolt of the worst against the best, a revolt of the weak and the cowardly against the strong and the good.

It is perpetrated by those who cannot build, who cannot create, who cannot achieve great things and take their revenge upon the world for their own inadequacy by seeking to destroy those who can. This is what radical leftism is. It may wear various different slogans and ideologies across place and time. They can call themselves anti -capitalist, or anti -imperialist, or communist, or anarchist, or Marxist, but the fundamental character is always the same. It's always the same. It is a poisonous resentment cloaked in the language of equality, and justice, liberation, an overwhelming need to tear down what greater men have built, to wreck what is beautiful and what is right, on behalf of people who are only filled with ugliness and have nothing else to offer the world.

Through violence and through terror, they once again seek to impose their ugliness on all of us. The old dogma was wrong. The old dogma was wrong. None of this is driven by idealism. It is not utopian. In fact, it is the opposite.

One of the criticisms you sometimes hear of communism, for example, is that it sounds good in theory, but it never works in practice. That's actually not true. Communism does not sound good in theory. The world it envisions for all of us is small, flat, gray, leveled of all exception, drained of all that is good and noble in the human soul. The world it envisions is a world without courage. a world without creativity or ambition, a world without heroes or glory or great causes to strive towards, a world without miracles, without myths, without men who rise above the rest to do incredible and extraordinary things.

And the world communism envisions is a world without God. For these architects of revolutionary violence, the towering achievement of our civilization, for them, it's an unbearable humiliation. A reminder of what they cannot do and a reminder of what they cannot be. So they choose instead to destroy. They attack pipelines. They attack railroads.

They attack power grids and laboratories. The physical embodied symbols of power and invention and achievement. This is the nature of the terrorism we face today. They despise the West because the West is great. How good is that? poisonous resentment.

That's what really fuels the rise of communism. This desire to tear down what greater men have built. People who are filled with ugliness and have nothing else to offer the world. We're going to get to that in just a second. Of course, mention of being godless. And when they see the greatness of what people have achieved, what God has done to our country, it's a reminder to them about what they cannot do and who they cannot be.

So they choose instead to destroy. I mean, that's just amazing. As good as it gets. Again, how awesome would this be if this is what they talk about at the midterm convention. This is Stephen Miller might be even better. And the leftist justifies this violence to himself by saying that they alone are the arbiters of what is right or wrong, not the law, not history, not civilization, not

public opinion, and certainly not God. The leftist assumes for himself judge, jury, executioner. But let's not pretend for a moment that these radical leftists, these terrorists, are operating from a place of sincere political conviction. Sure, there are plenty of useful idiots that they use who may believe these discredited ideologies. The leftist is fundamentally motivated by envy, by hatred, by jealousy, The leftist looks at what is beautiful and what is good and what is natural and is filled with envy and hatred. The leftist looks at a perfect family with the perfect life and a perfect job and perfect kids that goes to church every Sunday and is filled with envy and hatred.

a feeling of inadequacy and jealousy, and they covet, and they turn those emotions ultimately into a desire to subjugate, to oppress, and to inflict pain and suffering. It's not a coincidence that when you look at these violent Antifa demonstrations, you see any photograph of those who were assembled, to be blunt, not one of the people that is demonstrating looks like a normal person. Not one, looks normal. They're all deformed in some way in their appearance, in their dress, in their mannerism. Why is that? You look at two photographs and you see a normal American street, you see an Antifa protest.

Why do the people that are violently demonstrating, why is there not one normal -looking person among them? Every one of them, through the course of their life and their decisions, has scarred their body and their appearance in many different ways to the point in which their outer appearance becomes a manifestation of their inner hatred. your instincts to all people and across all civilizations. You know what normal is. You know what beautiful is. You know what good is.

You know that families are right. You know that children are precious and beautiful and must be protected. You know that the criminal and the junkie and the predator is a threat to normal, healthy living. This is so much deeper than than issues about taxation and regulation, although they're incredibly important. It's about normal, healthy, ordered living. Tremendous.

Again, people motivated by hatred and envy and jealousy. They look at what is good, beautiful and true, and they themselves are filled with envy, hatred. This last week, we spent a lot of time talking about covetousness. They'll look at a family who goes to church and is living a normal life, and they're filled with an adequacy and covetousness. and they turn those desires into inflicting pain and suffering. His point about how these Antiva people, they're deformed, their outward appearance is deformed because their outward life has become this reflection of their heart.

So throughout their life, they've made these decisions to scar their body and to have a disgusting appearance. They don't have to be like this, but their outward appearance has become a reflection of their inner heart. And he talks about what's normal. Normal is an interesting word. He doesn't mean normal as in common, because now more than ever, degeneracy is the norm. He's talking about normal as in good.

Actually, the original definition of the word normal means square, like a carpenter would try to make a right angle. They call that normal. So square, right angle, proper, right. So he doesn't mean normal as in everyone's doing it. He means normal as in, oh, like, this is what's good and proper. I want to speak to this inner ugliness real quick.

He, um, his comment is, reminded me of a poem from Kipling and I had to share it because it's about a story we shared just the other day too. This is all tying in from just the last couple weeks. Second Kings, the story of Gehazi. So here's the very short of it. So Naaman was this warrior who had leprosy.

He went to Elisha to try to heal the leprosy. He did. And then Naaman offered him a gift as a thank you. Like, oh, I can't believe you did this here. I want to give you some money. And Elisha said, no, no, no, no, no.

I refuse. He doesn't want any money. So Naaman goes back home. On his way back home, Elisha's servant, Gehazi, runs after him and says, oh, Naaman, Naaman, Naaman. Oh, you're not going to believe it. Elisha changed his mind.

He does want the gift after all. So if you could just give it to me, I'll go. I'll give it back to Elisha. And Naaman's like, oh, yeah, sure. Of course. Here's the gift.

So he gets back and Elisha says, hey, where'd you go? And then he lied to Elisha and Elisha gave him the punishment. He said, Naaman's leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever. Kipling was inspired by that story and he wrote this poem. He said, whence, so the image of Gehazi, so the timing's a little off with what Kipling does with this story, but it's still worth it. So it's, well, let me just start.

He says, whence comest thou Gehazi? so reverent to behold, and scarlet, and furs, and chain of England's gold. " So someone's coming across Ghazi, and he's like, man, look at you. Look at you. You look unbelievable. You're dignified.

Look at you. You got all the chain. You look amazing. What's going on? And Ghazi says, ah, from following after Naaman, to tell him all is well, whereby my zeal hath made me a judge in Israel. Well done.

Well done, Ghazi. Stretch forth thy ready hand, thou barely scraped from judgment, take oath to judge the land." " So now this man is going to give Ghazi this advice, and he's taking oath now, right? But he's complimenting him. He's like, oh, man, you're unbelievable.

This is great. Look at you. Unswayed by gift of money, or privy bribe, more base, of knowledge which is profit at any marketplace. You can't be bribed. You can't be bought off in any way. Search out and probe, Ghazi.

as thou of all canst try the truthful, well -weighed answer that tells the blacker lie. But you're going to be a great judge. You're going to be shrewd. You're going to be wise. Nothing can corrupt you, Gehazi. This is great.

So take order now, Gehazi, that no man talk aside in secret with his judges the while his case is tried. So again, you're not good. No one's going to trick you. No one's going to trick you. No one's going to talk to you. No one's going to deceive you.

Lest he should show them reason to keep a matter hid and subtly lead the questions away from what he did. Again, you won't be corrupt, Gehazi, because you're so wonderful. Here's the turn. Thou mirror of uprightness. So it's not like a title, like, look at you, like you're this man of virtue. And the man who's looking at Ghazi is like, oh, what's going on?

Thou mirror of uprightness, what ails thee at thy vows? So imagine Ghazi is about to take this vow to be the judge, right? Thou mirror of uprightness. Mr. Ghazi, what ails you at thy vows? What means the risen whiteness of the skin between thy brows? The boils.

that shine and burrow, the sores that slough and bleed, the leprosy of Naaman on thee and all thy seed." " That's what Elisha told him would happen. Naaman's leprosy will cling to you and all your descendants forever. So in this story that Kipling is telling, a little bit different than the Bible timeline, but this is the moment where the leprosy is coming out. So he's taken this oath and he's being praised for being so honest and good. And the penalty of his greed and his sin is coming out at this moment in the poem.

Stand up, stand up, Gehazi. Draw close thy robe and go. Gehazi, judge in Israel, a leper white as snow. Right? It's like, oh, unbelievable. Like, oh, we have the judge in Israel.

Get out of here, man. Like you better cover up and run. We can't have a judge in Israel who's a leper as white as snow. So here's the moment when his inner sin was being manifested. on the outside of his body. Stephen Miller saying these communists have, they have essentially a leprosy in their heart, a covetousness in their heart, sins in their heart, and it shows with the deformity of their body.

I thought of that poem when I saw that Miller clip. All right, let's go to the Bible here. It's a long episode today. I'll keep it quick here. I think there's three points I want to make here about defeating communists. You call it three levels.

I don't know if it's quite three levels. It's like two and a half levels, maybe. On the surface, So how do we defeat communism? I think the surface level that we try for a long time is to explain why our economic system is better. Why capitalism is better than communism. It's not going to win hearts and minds.

It's good. You need to do it. And we need to know the economic differences. But that's not going to... not going to, it's just not going to change enough. Maybe it'll change some minds, but it's not going to change hearts and hearts are the main issue here, which is the second deeper way to fight communism.

Heart and minds are sinful and full of resentment, full of all the things that Marco and Steve Miller were talking about there. I don't think you can really change people's minds until we first change people's hearts. People have to be a Christian to get rid of the hatred in their heart and the resentment. And only then can they see the truth. other light or I should say in the light there are you start to like oh yeah no communism's horrible now don't get me wrong being a christian is the most important thing but I hope you get my point that after you become a christian and resentment no longer drives you it no longer corrupts you once all that is gone then the appeal of communism magically goes away as well now I don't know if this is a third layer that's probably not quite right this is like I think this is like an element of becoming a christian as well is most of these communists are outcasts from society. So at some point in their life, probably very early on, for whatever reason, they were pushed aside.

Before I say that, let me make this economic point. Most of these communists today, they're adults, right? They can't cut it. They don't have what it takes to be successful in the capitalist system. Whether it's IQ or work ethic, reasons within their control or beyond their control, whatever it is, they can't cut it. So they don't like this economic system because it's not working for them.

So of course they want a different one. But I think even before they become failures in the marketplace, I think a lot of these people are just weird and different. And they may not have friends in middle school. and they get pushed off into a different path of being even weirder and more of an outcast. And there's lots of different things that those people can end up doing in life. And one of them is to find solidarity, find acceptance with other similar outcasted people.

And those outcasted people Some of them, a percentage, whatever, it's like, let's, let's, I don't know, you look at all the outcasts in America, let's say 5 % of the outcasts become communist. Like they attach their outcastness to, and like, again, all the other 95 maybe latch on to other things that are weird and not great either, but this 5 % or whatever it is, attach themselves to being communist. That's not good. So our goal as Christians should be to make sure that no one feels rejected from society because And I should say this starts young. And it's the classic tale. And we encourage our kids to look for opportunities to be this person, to make everyone feel welcome.

Make people feel welcome in church. Make people feel welcome in a friend group. Make people feel welcome in a community. Make sure your kids bring in that kid who may be a little more awkward, a little more distant. Being outcasted and lonely can lead to many terrible things. One of them is being a communist activist when you grow up, an Antifa member, right?

But beyond that, that's less important. We just want everyone. to know God and Jesus, and become a Christian. Everyone. I want to welcome everyone to this new life of being born again. Politics by Faith, youtube .

Fox & Friends

We were on Fox & Friends talking about all of the train robberies in CA. It's so bad the train company says they may have to ride right THROUGH Los Angeles entirely and never slow down lol. What a joke this state it.

That link is a bit odd, I've attached a short video to get the gist.

In short, The rich get richer, the poor get the handouts and the middle class gets out of town.

This causes these progressive politicians to get even more entrenched.

We haven't hit rock bottom yet.

Boys to men, girls to women

How do you do it? Advice please!

Dean Abbott,
"Why contemporary relations between the sexes are so messed up. The problem starts with men because men lead, the masculine pursues and initiates, and problems always start at the level of leadership.

Most men aren't taught that a relationship with a woman means accepting responsibility. No one tells us that a woman represents not only pleasure, but obligation.
The fact that having a relationship with a woman means responsibility and obligation never enters many men's minds.

When these men enter into a relationship with a woman, they are overwhelmed by her needs, her feminine communication style, and her emotions.
Moreover, he unconsciously resents her for having needs at all since he has been conditioned to see her solely as a source of pleasure.
When her anger and disappointment over his irresponsibility gets intense enough, he splits in search of another woman.
He mistakenly believes the problem wasn't his attitude nor that it is a ...

Morning Motivation, April 21, 2023

I found a way to easily transcribe the podcasts, so I will post them here first before they go out to iTunes and the rest.

Good morning. Welcome to The Morning Motivation, brought to you by Public Square and Patriot Gold Group. I'm grateful you're here. I was reading a sermon by the great Puritan preacher John Owen in the mid-1600s. I'm so fascinated by this time period, 1600s, early 1700s. We focus a lot on our founding fathers. I think that the Tea Party movement and just conservatism in general has focused a lot on the founding fathers, and that's amazing, but I'm very fascinated by our founding grandfathers or great-grandfathers, the people who created the culture that our founding fathers were raised in.

0:00:44
Isn't that a fascinating era? We got like 1776, like that's great, I love it, I want to know more, I don't know nearly enough. But what about the 1720s? What was going on there? Or the late 1600s? What was going on in America at that time? And you know, we've all heard of the Puritans, but you ...

You were terse and dismissive in this morning's 7:25 Eastern time call with the Man with four step children applying for Naturalization from his Naturalized U.S. Wife of Philippine descent. You should be more considerate of history about America's relationship such as with the Philippine People, which is quite notable with intrinsic factors which should have favorable weight in consideration the Filipino propensity to immigrate and become American Citizens.

"The Resident Commissioner of the Philippines was a non-voting member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1907 until the Philippines gained independence in 1946. This role was established under the Philippine Organic Act of 1902, allowing the Philippines to have representation in Congress, similar to current non-voting members from U.S. territories."

Don't be so apparently xenophobic and stop misrepresenting American (and Christian while you're at it) History in omission through culpable ignorance.

A Cry For Help: "I Own A Strip Club"
Politics By Faith, August 24, 2026

Someone called in the other day and said he owns a strip club, but he's willing to get out of the business. Let's help, Greg! And lest we get on our high horse because we don't own a strip club, we should all be like the people outside of Simon's house asking for Jesus' help.

Welcome to Politics by Faith. It's where we take the news of the day, we bring it to the Bible, so we can walk away with peace and perspective. New headlines every day, but Ecclesiastes says it's not the new end of the sun. So thanks for being here to get the true story. The story of the day today, a call for help. At the end of my SiriusXM radio show on Friday, at the very end, last phone call, the segment before that, we were talking about rap music. And now, for the first time since 1990 no rap song is in the Billboard top 40.

And I just talked about that. It's great. Now, it's not that the other 40 songs are good. It's not like the Lawrence Welk Orchestra is knocking out the number one hits. Sorry, it's all trash. But at least rap's not in the top right. But I made the point that the peak of rap's popularity was only 30 market share. Usually, rap's like 20 25 market share. And there's just an impression that everyone's supposed to love it. Like, everyone does love rap and we're all supposed to love it. And no one likes it. So, I think we can stop pretending to like it. That was like a throwaway point at the end of the show, whatever. And some people called and they talked about rap music's changed. Like, oh, it used to be good in the 80s and now it's worse. You're like, okay. So, we had a couple of calls.

But some guy called in, Greg, in Michigan, Detroit. He said, Slater, let me tell you how bad rap music has become. He said, I own a strip club and the rap music today is so degenerate. That's the word he used, degenerate. I won't even play. It's so, rap music is so degenerate. I won't play it at my strip club. Is it sometimes? I strip club. He said, sometimes a song will slip through. Someone will pay 100 to the DJ and some modern rap song will pop through. He said, everyone sings along to it. He said, it's awful.

So we talked about rap music for a little bit. I said, now, Greg, hold on. You said something a moment ago. You own a what? And he shared a story. He said he's felt a pull really ever since he got into the business. That pull. I said, what do you mean a pull? You felt a pull. He's like, I, you know, the morality of it. I said, that's your conscience. People can sear their conscience. You should listen to it. He said he's a Christian. He said, You got to make money somehow. And he also said, We have free. I want to get back to that free will part in a minute. And then he went on in his rationalization and said, I protect these girls. I'm sort of a fatherlike figure and I'm a security and I'm sort of like a boyfriend. " I said, and pimp."

And he just, he went through like all these different excuses for how he's, how it's okay that he's in this industry. But I was encouraged By Greg because you could tell he still knew it was wrong. He said he has bad knees, owning a strip club is easier than he was a plumber for a long time. Bad knees, bad back or something. And I encouraged him that maybe he should do something else. And would you do something else if something else were available? And he said something like, I've been wanting to get out of the industry.

" Something like that. It was a call for help. Now I'm issuing a call for help. I bring this story up for two reasons. First, if you own a company or know of a company in the Detroit area and we can give Greg in Detroit an option and get him out of the strip club, how incredible would that be? Now. I challenge Greg with this. Not only will you be leaving the strip club, which is good for you, but you are in this unique position to be able to speak to the women, to rescue them out of what they're doing. I can speak about the whole thing from my high horse up here, but Greg, you know these people. You intimately know them. You know their names. You also know the places, you know the other owners, you know the girls. You can speak to them in a language that they understand, and you can rescue them. You can really help them. I'm not in a position to help these girls, but you are. Especially the ones that know you and trust you. But then also, after you rescue them, just girls.

Young women in the industry in general, you know what makes the whole thing tick and work and all. You can help people in such an incredible way. He says, Well, the money's good. So I asked him, I had to go. It was the end of the show. And I said, Greg, if you're interested. Send me an email. He did. He wrote me right away. And then I asked him back. I said, Greg, what are you making? What do you need to make in order for you to leave comfortably? He says, He makes just over 100000 a year. He's a plumber and he has a bachelor's degree. He's making pretty good money where he is. And Jesus said. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Greg is in a position to save souls he really can. He's the man to do it. Just need some help. If you're in the Detroit area and you can maybe help Greg out with a job or an opportunity, my personal email is slaterradiogmailcom Slaterradiogmailcom and if all of us.

The second reason I want to bring this up, if all of us can please pray for Greg in Michigan. And I pray that he makes a hard choice. That's not a hard choice. It's a monumental choice and acts on it. He says he's a Christian. So I pray the Holy Spirit speaks to him loudly and he can take these steps. And then I pray that he has zero regrets and instead feels this relief. I want Greg to, I would just love for there to be an opportunity. Someone listening now is like, oh, yeah, like I'll give Greg. I'll. Interview Greg, right? And then Greg's great. So we take on Greg, Greg leaves, and then he can help these girls. But the moment Leaves, I want him to feel this joy, this relief and this joy, like, Oh, I can finally, I'm doing what I know I should be doing."

And then I can go glorify God by spreading the word in a very dark place, a place that he used to spend a lot of time in. So if you could pray, again, you may be like, I'm in Alabama or whatever, I can't help Greg. " You can, if you can pray for Greg in Detroit, that would be amazing. And if you're in Detroit and you can help Greg, I got a lot of emails from people after that show, after that, who heard that. And they're like, oh man, it was moving for me and a lot of other people. We just need one person. One person to be in a position to help Greg do the right thing. It can be hard to do the right thing, but it is easier when people come alongside and help. My wife and I, to be personal here, my wife and I, when we were engaged We were living together. And we were going to this church.

And they confronted us on it. And it was as loving as it could possibly be done. I wasn't a Christian. I wasn't baptized at the time. I was studying the Bible. So I was studying the Bible with these men. So I remember the night, they're like, hey, come over and we'll study the Bible. And then my wife went with some women. And I went with some men. And the men were just ran through the scripture about living together. I forgot exactly the scriptures they used, but I remember being fully convicted and giving a lot of excuses, plenty of excuses, right? Oh, it's expensive, whatever, all the excuses people, but just couldn't deny the word of God anymore. I remember I jokingly, what's the right word? It was jokingly. But it was also like exhaustively frustrating. I don't know the right word, but I threw my pencil at. Guillermo. Guillermo was the leader of the church. I threw it at him as if to say, Well, I'm out. I got no other. I didn't throw it. I want to be clear. I didn't throw it at him. I was like, all right. Well.

No Milk and Rotten meat! Life Aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln
Politics By Faith, August 19, 2026

Reports are spreading that life aboard the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln is difficult and uncomfortable. How bad are things? There's not enough fresh milk. I'll tell you why the media is spreading this story and what the truth is.

Welcome to Politics by Faith. It's where we take the news of the day, we bring it to the Bible, so we can all walk away with peace and perspective. New headlines every day, but Ecclesiastes says it's not the new under the sun. Thanks for being here to get the true story, the story of the day today. Hayden Panettiere has died at the age of 36. Hayden was a child actress.

Her first TV show was Jim Henson's TGIF show in 1996, short -lived. It was called Aliens in the Family. She was seven. Did a lot of TV commercials as well. She was the voice of one of the characters in A Bug's Life. Her biggest childhood role was Remember the Titans as the precocious little girl.

Her big break as an adult was Heroes, some TV show, and in Nashville. A lot of headlines said she was from the Scream franchise. I'm old enough to think that Courtney Cox is the face of the Scream franchise, but I guess there was some reboot. She was found dead at Judson Mill Lofts in Greenville, South Carolina. Authorities don't think there was any foul play, no sign of trauma that could have contributed to her death. TMZ says that in the 911 dispatch, there was something said about an overdose.

But as I'm recording this now, we're not sure yet. I read this in USA Today. They said in the years leading up to her death, Panettiere had been candid about her health and struggles with substance abuse. The actress previously revealed that she struggled with alcohol and opioid addiction and sought treatment. And she also spoke openly about experiencing postpartum depression after welcoming her daughter Kayla in 2014. Her younger brother, also an actor, Jensen Panettiere, died in 2023 at the age of 28 from a heart condition.

Her daughter is with her ex -fiancé, so lives with her dad in Europe. So I don't know what that situation is about. what's broken about this horrible story is it's a reminder that celebrities don't live a great life. I saw that she had a net worth of $15 million. I don't know what her actual net worth was, right, but a lot. And she was famous and glamorous, and she went to all the red carpets and the big special events, and people were like, ooh, Hayden's here.

And I was like, she could afford anything in the world. She could go anywhere in the world. Anywhere she wanted right now, she could go and stay at the nicest place in the world, nicest hotel in New York City or wherever, and do whatever she wanted. And just wasn't happy. How are you doing? And if your excuse is, well, you know, I'm all right, but I don't have $15 million.

If I had $15 million, then I'd be, I'd be real happy. If I were famous, then I would be, I'd be, then I'd be grateful. So obviously not the answer. Happiness can't be about your circumstances. If you're not happy now, then you won't be happy with the change of circumstance. You really won't.

You won't. It depends where you find your happiness. And you can never go about thinking that your life would be, if you were a celebrity, then life would be good. Like it's not it. And most celebrities will admit it. It's just not a good life.

I think one of the reasons it's not a good life is because you're never sure about your relationships. Are people there for the money? Are people there for the fame? People there for the perks? How loyal are your friends? And you can be rich and famous, big celebrity, but your 11 year old daughter lives in Europe with your ex.

Like what good is all that money? Who cares? Who wants this money? And then it makes life seem even more shallow and meaningless. It's relationships that matter the most. Your relationship with Jesus, first and foremost, which is what we're going to get to.

But then secondly, your relationships here on earth. And if those relationships are questionable at best or broken, then no matter what your relationships are here on earth, you need to have that relationship with Jesus. I was convicted this morning with a scripture that I've read a thousand times. Matthew 7, 21, Jesus is not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, we'll enter the kingdom of heaven. but the one who does the will of my father who is in heaven. " And his followers, they're like, what are you talking about?

We prophesied in your name. We casted out demons. We did all these mighty works. We did stuff. What do you mean? Not everyone who says, Lord, Lord, we'll go to heaven.

Like we're doing the stuff. Like if we went back and we saw this happening, we would say that these people who are questioning this, we would say they're Christians. And then Jesus said, and then I will declare to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness. That line never stood out to me. All the times I've read this, that last part, you who practice lawlessness.

The Greek word here for to know me is the intimate knowing of someone or an intimate relationship with someone. He's saying, you people, you're doing stuff, quote unquote in my name, but you don't know me. I don't know you. We don't have a relationship and you're practicing lawlessness actually. 1 John 2, 3 says, and by this, we know that they have come to know him. If we keep his commandments. Whoever says, I know him, but does not keep his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him.

There's a keeping of the commandments. They're not practicing lawlessness. And Jesus ends the sermon on the Mount, Matthew 7, 24. Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And then it says, everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be the foolish man who built his house on the sand. So there's, there's a, it's not just hearing the words, you got to go do them and not just do anything, but follow his commands.

Now, of course, there's no working our way to Jesus, no working our way to heaven. These things, the doing stuff, it's the fruit that comes out of the intimate relationship with Jesus. It comes out of the knowing Jesus. And Jesus is the only person that brings peace. No matter what rough times, difficult times, mental health, addiction, whatever, come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. So many people who need relationship, they need intimacy, and they need rest.

All of that comes through Jesus. Jesus said, take my yoke upon you and learn from me. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. How many people today need rest in their souls? For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Isn't that incredible?

Find rest for your souls in Jesus. Nothing else will give it to you. Nothing else on this earth will make you content. We need that reminder because if we walk around disgruntled and discontent, There's a chance that Jesus says, I never knew you. You're not looking to me. You're not looking to me for your refuge.

You're not looking to me for a relationship. Nothing else. Fame, money, celebrity, nothing else will fill that void. Nothing else will give you rest. That is all and only in Jesus. Don't miss these reminders.

Trump: "Who Are These Animals?" Destroying The WWII Memorial
Politics By Faith, August 17, 2026

In this country, there are people "of the Devil," and there are people "of Christ." We are called to build. The rest are dead set on destruction. Whether it's institutions, organizations, or statues and memorials, those of the Devil can't stop destroying everything that is good, beautiful, and true.

Welcome to Politics by Faith. This is where we take the news of the day, we bring it to the Bible, so we can walk away with peace and perspective. New headlines every day. They never stop. They keep coming. I'm going to bombard you.

But Ecclesiastes says it's not the new under the sun. So thanks for being here to get the true story, the story of the day today. Vandalizing the World War II Memorial. So what happened here? The president tweeted out the other day, our beautiful World War II Memorial was just hit by spray painting vandals. There could be no greater insult to those Americans, American heroes who died in World War II.

First, the reflecting pool. Now this, we are on their trail. Where do these animals come from? So someone wrote with spray paint on the World War II Memorial. They wrote clean hands, dirty money. I don't know what that means, but then they just made this big mess.

all around. And then someone or someone else, I don't know that same person, I don't know, poured bubble soap in the fountains of the memorial. So it made this big foam bubble mess. The good news of this story is that the U . S. attorney for Washington, D .

C. is also the DA for D . C. The weird quirk of how, like what Washington, D . C. even is. I mean, thank goodness that Jeanine Pirro is the D .

A. of D . C. because she is able to arrest murderers and drug dealers. There's no other city in the country where the D . A.

is going to be someone like Jeanine Pirro. D . C. is the only place. So she's in charge of this, and she already charged someone. Two felony charges, vandalism against property and destruction of Veterans Memorial.

That's a specific charge. Melissa Ferris. Facing up to 10 years in prison, now in custody, of course, it's a degenerate. looking person as they almost always are. Her outside is a reflection of her heart, a heart that is consumed with destruction. And that's what I want to talk about here.

That's what I want to talk about what's broken in this story. I cannot stress enough how dead set these people are on destruction. We don't, it's hard for us to understand this because you're not, you're not dead set on destruction. You're trying to build things. You're trying to make things better. These people are, they're different.

They set on destruction at the risk of getting off topic. Let me, let me weave for just a second here. This is on my mind. Cause we've been talking a lot about this on the, on the radio show lately, the importance of a high trust society. And we've taken it for granted our whole life. We've lived in a high trust society and we didn't recognize it.

And now we're losing it. And it's going to be gone fast. A basic example we can all understand is. You grew up in a world, in a country, in a culture where you walk into a store and it's all there. And then you take a thing off the shelf and you put it in a basket or a cart and then you go over there to the checkout person and you pay and then you walk out the door. Well enough people just stopped doing that.

Like they would just steal stuff. So then the stores had to lock everything up. We all know about that example. It's mostly foreigners who do this. because they come from low -trust societies, or it's just degenerate people. Maybe they grew up here, but they're not American at their core because that's not our culture.

But there's other examples of high -trust society that we're losing. McDonald's said they're getting rid of self -serve soda stations. Have you ever thought about that? Have you ever thought about the fact that you can buy one soda, and you just walk over there, or you just get a water. You could ask for a water, and you just go over there, and you grab a drink. And if you want another one, you gotta go back and pay, but that's okay because you can just fill it up yourself.

Like that's a high trust society, but they're getting rid of that. Why are they doing it? McDonald's said they're getting rid of it because of quote, changing consumer habits. No, it's because disgusting people keep stealing soda. We talked about a story the other day on the radio of how people are not only attacking and robbing the mailman, mail carriers, Now gangs are infiltrating the post office to become mail carriers so they can systematically steal from you and I, from everyone. They can steal important documents, credit cards, whatever they want.

So how about taking mail delivery for granted? I never thought twice about that one. I never thought that people would just steal the mail because we've always lived in a high trust society, but people now steal the mail. It's crazy. Someone called in the other day because I have an open call for anyone who ever has a high trust story. that they wanna celebrate.

This guy called in and said they were in a convenience store in their town, and the person forgot their wallet, and the cashier person said, ah, don't worry about it, I owe you. Next time you're here, pay it off. And the guy was the second person in line, said, what? What was that? Oh, that's how it used to be. All these old -timey movies, the Wild West, where people put stuff on their tab.

Tab? You have a tab? What do you mean you have a tab? If you ever, if you have an example of a high -trust society, thing, element, example, story, something in your town that's high trust. Please let me know. I love these stories so much.

Let me know in the comments of our YouTube page, your high trust society example, whether it's something you had growing up or let's pray something you still have today. Just one that popped in my head is in my town I used to live in, we went back a couple of years ago for a vacation and just like a mile or so down the lake where we stayed, there was like a farm stand. Like a farm stand is a classic example, right? You put your money in the little Folgers cup, make your own change. This guy did that though, but for maple syrup.

This guy had this little shed of maple syrup. There had to be like $10 ,000 worth of maple syrup. That's an expensive item. And it was all just, you know, grab it, whatever. Grab what you want and leave your money right there. Like, oh man.

So please let me know in the comments your high trust society story. And I love to hear these stories because when, every time they happen, it, it tells people that this is how we do it, right? Like, so, so if you, if someone does a high trust society thing to you, you're more likely to then do another high trust society thing to someone else. And then it snowballs because people are like, oh, wow, we were doing that. We're, we're honest. Oh, that's awesome.

I want to be honest like that too, to people and it snowballs for the better, but it could spiral down fast as well. It's one of the things we lose when the whole third world comes here because they view your trust as weakness. It's a weakness to be taken advantage of. The vice president had an anti -fraud round table like a week or so ago. And the second person in command there, someone at the treasury department, said these welfare programs were designed for a high trust society. And they worked without having to do a lot of paperwork and checking in on people and all the rest.

When more foreigners come in than ever before and it's just game on. People taking advantage of this thinking, wow, these Americans are just a bunch of suckers. Can you believe it? They're just giving all this money away. I can't believe they're so stupid. Third worlders, they come here and they see our high trust as weakness.

Can you believe people are just given free food away at the food pantry? They're just giving food away. It's like, yeah, that's not what that's for. Can you believe we just got to fill this form and we'll make millions of dollars a year with our fake daycare? It's free money. They just give it to you.

They see our trust as weakness. Similarly, back at the end of my weave, I think this ties in here because these are people who walk around and they just see, they see weakness. And there's other people who walk around and they're dead set on destruction. It's in their heart. They see things that are good, beautiful, and true. and their wicked heart says, I have to destroy that.

And it could be a thing like a statue or like a war memorial. It could be an organization like the Boy Scouts. It could be a company like Bud Light or Cracker Barrel. It could be an industry like Hollywood, or you can even think like Star Wars specifically. Like it's good, I'm gonna destroy it. That woke feminist woman who came in there, Kathleen Kennedy or whatever her name is, comes in and just destroys the whole thing.

I saw a video the other day of the Vanderbilt Divinity School. It's hollowed out and woke trans in every way. It could be any other part of our culture, like professional sports. It could be an institution like marriage, whatever, whatever it is. I just list off a pretty broad range of things. The left, they're very good at knowing what the most important things are to take down. We talked a lot about last week.

We're going to keep talking about it too. The left, about 50 years or so, their focus on taking down marriage. I know what I'm saying is true. it's in the Bible. Satan and his demons are destroyers. Check out this line in the Bible, Revelation 9 11.

It says they have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, A -B -A -D -D -O -N, and in Greek he's called Apollon. The word Abaddon in Hebrew, it says that's what his name is. His name Abaddon in Hebrew, it means destruction. That's literally what the word means. This is the fallen angel who's in charge of this bottomless pit.

His name is Destruction. Other translations of that Hebrew word are Ruin. I looked at the Blue Letter Bible and described it as the name of the angel prince of the infernal regions, the minister of death and the author of havoc on the earth. Also a destroying angel. The fallen angel, the demon's name is Destruction. I know I'm hitting on something I think is right on.

Jesus calls Satan a murderer from the very beginning. A murderer destroys life. The devil is like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. Satan destroys. Demons destroy. That's their goal.

John 10, Jesus says the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. This is what ungodly people do, their intent on destruction. We see what Satan is capable of in Job. Now Satan's permitted to do all this here, right? But we see what he's capable of when he strikes Job and how he strikes Job. He takes away Job's livelihood, kills his animals, his servants, kills all 10 of his children.

They were eating together, having a wonderful time as a family. Satan then attacks Job's health and then Satan tries to turn Job against God. These are the strategies of Satan. They're all destruction. They're destroying health, life, relationships. So what Satan does, he destroys.

And people today, they act in Satan's name. 1 John 3 .12 says, we should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. Cain was of the evil one. There's a lot of people who are, even today. We shouldn't be though. We are of Christ.

There are some people who are of the evil one. We are of Christ. Christ. We are called to hire. We are called to godliness. We are called to righteousness.

We are called to build. Whether it's building monuments to World War II veterans, to maintain their memory, or for building a family or a school, or you're serving your town, or you're doing amazing work at your job, we build. Colossians 3 .23 says, whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord, you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. I will be fair though. The Bible does say that we destroy too.

In general, we're builders, but there is one thing we destroy. 1 John 3 says, the reason the son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. Maybe we don't do that then. Jesus already did. Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. It's now our job to build.
